Mesa Temple - Old or New

It's been a busy past couple of weeks but I've managed to work on some new images. Photoshop is a great tool and you could probably spend several lifetimes learning all its capabilities. It's also a black hole that makes time mysteriously disappear.
Most of my images retain a fairly traditional look even when converted to black & white or sepia. I've given this image a different "treatment" in Photoshop and can't decide if it's an older look or a more contemporary one. It's hard to see in this size, but I also applied a slight canvas texture to it as well.
I found some complementary frame styles and several of the framed prints are now in the Mesa area Deseret Book stores. I've applied some variations of the same technique to other Temples and hopefully will have them available soon.

The picture of the Mesa Temple shown at 11-25-07 looks to me very traditional, if that is the right word. It reminds me of the type of pictures taken during the time of the Civil War (Forgot the name of the style of photos) and early 1900's. I like it better sometimes than the full color prints that one sees today, but only sometimes.
    Have a nice day

    Richard,
I like this one better than the last. It has an interesting glow. On the panoramic one I don't care for the way the light reflects on the palm leaves.

Your photography of the Mesa Temple is mesmerizing! My fiance' and I are planning our wedding and would love to include this image in our announcements. I've visited Deseret Book in an effort to locate and purchase postcards or similar sized prints. I was told that Deseret Book doesn't stock them, if they exist at all. Is this something that you are interested pursuing? I can imagine you would open up a nice market for this type of thing in a Mormon town like Mesa! Thanks so much, Teresa
