Laie Hawaii Temple

We had the opportunity to visit the Laie Hawaii Temple this summer at the end of a mini-vacation. Unfortunately, we were traveling very light and I only had a small digital SLR to photograph with. I'm almost lost without at least a tripod, not to mention the big camera. As always, the Temple is beautiful and its design reminds me of our Mesa Temple.
The grounds are beautiful as well and enhance the tropical setting of the Temple. The drifting clouds constantly changed the light and created new images every few minutes. While I was frustrated with the lack of time and equipment, I enjoyed scouting around and planning an actual photo trip where I could really concentrate on Temple photography.
